Some examples of services I have provided:

For Health & Wellness Practitioners-

-Consultation on paperwork and policy, including informal audit of existent protocols and material, identifying potential concerns or areas of discordance from applicable guidelines and best practices

-Collaborating on the drafting of intake processes that facilitate efficient and respectful communication and uphold HIPPA, HHS, and Joint Commissions guidelines on patient demographic collection, identification, and sensitive health content in a manner that does not exclude or rely on assumption about a patient’s government ID, legal name, prior medical records, etc

-Providing training materials and/or info sessions for staff, ensuring the seamless integration of any updated protocols and equipping all team members with the resources and confidence to appropriately address, document, and facilitate positive interactions with a diverse and varied population of transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive patients

-Intersectional DEI training on topics relevant to providing equitable care for LGBT patients, including breaking down the data surrounding the healthcare gap for trans patients and providing actionable steps forward, practicing tools for recognizing and working through implicit bias, and addressing common misconceptions, questions, and concerns. This can take the form of a presentation, “lunch and learn” style informal conversation, or devising and facilitating a training module.

For Arts Organizations-

-Dramaturgy and research related to the social, political, and historical contexts relevant to the story, persons, or characters being developed, creating reference materials for the creative team

-Workshops and info sessions on approaching stories of transgender lives, handling sensitive content, and using art & storytelling for social change

-Consultation on best practices for creating an environment that is equitable, affirming, and accessible for transgender artists, audiences, staff, etc, identifying potential pain points and facilitating proactive solutions. [I have also done this consultation for institutions working with LGBT+ youth.]
